Danny Bonaduce booking
Perhaps best known for his role on the classic ’70s series “The Partridge Family,” Danny Bonaduce’s show business career began at the age of four, when he appeared in his first commercial. His father was a comedic writer for “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” “All in the Family,” “Good Times,” and “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir,” and for the next several years, Bonaduce often appeared in his father’s shows. But it was at the age of 10 that he attained the role of Danny Partridge, a part that enabled him to showcase his talents and entertain television viewers for generations to come.
Bonaduce’s other television credits include guest-star roles on a variety of series, from “Eight Is Enough” and “CHiPs” to “That ’70s Show;” “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” and “The Drew Carey Show.” In 1999, he served as producer and consultant for the television movie “C’mon Get Happy: The Partridge Family Story,” a behind-the-scenes look at the trials and tribulations of his young life on the series.
Although Bonduce’s image has graced the television screen for decades, his radio career has been thriving for the past 11 years as well. He began at WEGX-FM in Philadelphia, where his morning show helped maintain the station’s top-rated status. He also did stints at KKFR-FM in Phoenix and WLUP-FM (“The Loop”) in Chicago, where he hosted the afternoon drive show. Bondaduce then moved on to Detroit to host the morning show at WKQI-FM. His successes finally brought him to the New York market, where he was the morning show host at WTJM-FM.
Bonaduce currently serves as co-host of the highly rated morning drive show, “The Jamie and Danny Show,” at KYSR-FM in Los Angeles. Along with cohost Jamie White, he has built a loyal following in Los Angeles, and there are plans to syndicate his radio show nationally. Bonaduce also contributes his wealth of life experiences to NBC Enterprises/syndications as a co-host of the talk show, “The Other Half.”
Bonaduce’s autobiography, published in 2001, is entitled Random Acts of Badness: My Story. In his book, he is incredibly open, honest, and candid when talking about the ups and downs his career and life have taken, including his downfall to and eventual triumph over depression and substance abuse. From child star to bad boy to devoted husband and father, Bonaduce admits to living through “colorful times” in his life, but his focus now is on issues that can affect his family and families in general.
